Materials
Berlin Wool For Classic Salmon Flies
After much research I came to the following Conclusions:-
There is no such thing as "Berlin Wool".
You can't buy a ball of Berlin Wool What Berlin Wool actually is,
is a form of embroidery popular amongst the Victorians and
the wool was extensively used by Fly Tiers.
What I have available is very close to the actual
item used in the Classic Salmon Flies.

Due to cost and Conservation issues I have developed a good Dubbing
material that can be used from small Trout Flies up to massive
Classic Salmon Flies. It is a two part material comprising blending
Merino Wool and Mohair. It dubs well and has more body than pure Mohair.
Dyed by myself in the following colours, and is a totally sustainable
resource.

If you need any specific colours I can dye to suit, it
is about a week turn around. This is because it has to be
totally dry before packing.
